Preparing Your File:
Please include with your job all the necessary support files including fonts & any external linked artwork!
Applications such as QuarkXPress and Adobe Indesign have a "collect for output" utility that can transfer some or all of the support files to a separate directory. Please consult your manual or product's documentation for more information.
When creating PDF files please pay attention to the following:
1. Use Acrobat Distiller to generate your PDF file and avoid using PDF-Writer.
2. Use the "press conversion setting" or Disable Downsampling in Acrobat Distiller. Acrobat by default uses the "eBook conversion setting" which will reduce the resolution of your images to 72 dpi.
3. Always Embed all Fonts.
4. Please examine your PDF file carefully! Remember to pay special attention to the bullets and any special symbols.
PDF files created from Microsoft Powerpoint occasionally have issues with bullets and embedded Microsoft Excel charts. Please compress your files into a single archive using either ZIP or SIT compression formats. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to call.
